About We R General Contractors - Your Fort Collins Home Improvement Contractor

Our Story

We R General Contractors began with a simple idea: home improvement should feel honest, reliable, and be executed with pride.

Founded by two transplants who fell in love with Colorado’s mountains, people, and pace of life, our journey started much like the homes we now work on, from the ground up. Coming from different states and professional backgrounds, we combined years of hands-on field experience and business acumen to establish something lasting here in Northern Colorado.

What began as a small home improvement operation naturally evolved, job by job, into a trusted remodeling contractor serving Fort Collins and surrounding communities. Along the way, we discovered that success isn’t about being the largest crew on the block; it’s about showing up when you say you will, doing the work correctly, and treating every home as if it were your own.

Who We Are Today

Today, We R General Contractors operates as a licensed residential general contractor, providing practical Fort Collins home upgrades and renovation solutions designed to enhance both the function and feel of your home. Our work makes everyday living more comfortable while adding lasting value.

We specialize in residential renovations, including custom deck building, exterior improvements, interior finish projects, and coordinated multi-trade work throughout Fort Collins and Northern Colorado. From basement and garage finishing to siding, decks, and interior upgrades, our team emphasizes organized planning, clear communication, and dependable execution.

We’re not a franchise or a corporate chain. We are your neighbors. We live here, work here, and take pride in seeing our craftsmanship around town. Whether a project is straightforward or more complex, we approach every job with care, accountability, and keen attention to detail.

Our Promise

No drama. No surprises. Just skilled workmanship, clear communication, and results you can feel good about — every time.

Much of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients who value a transparent process and dependable follow-through. We take that trust seriously and continue to earn it one project at a time.
